Introduction

Practicing martial arts since childhood

In 2004, he was selected to join the Shaolin Temple Warrior Monk Group, becoming a warrior monk of the Shaolin Temple.

In 2006, at the Shaolin Temple, he accompanied the monks in receiving Russian President Vladimir Putin and demonstrated Shaolin Kung Fu for him.

In 2007, at the Shaolin Temple, he accompanied the monks in receiving former Singaporean President S.R. Nathan and demonstrated Shaolin Kung Fu for him.

In 2008, Shi Yanxuan led a group representing Shaolin Temple culture to collaborate with the British Classical Theatre in the production of the stage play "Space," created by some of the most renowned contemporary European and American modern dance choreographers, composers, and set designers, enhancing the stage image of Shaolin Kung Fu. This was a new dance inspired by Chinese Shaolin monks, produced by British artist Antony Gormley in collaboration with dancer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.

In 2011, he collaborated with dancer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui to create the stage play "Astro Boy" based on the Japanese manga.

In December 2019, his video work "CGTN Shoots Shaolin Three-Section Staff" won the 25th Asian Television Awards.
